This is a fantastic example of how having a small area doesn’t mean you have to miss out on the key elements of your dream outdoor space! Our client is a family with young children, and they wanted to make use of their garden all year around. This meant incorporating a pool for the warmer months, a fireplace for the cooler months and a large alfresco area to enjoy throughout the year. To maximise the limited space, we located the pool in the front yard and framed it with raw natural materials and lush greenery for privacy. A herringbone brick pathway leads to the back of the house, opening into a spacious outdoor kitchen with a flued fireplace and gas BBQ. The alfresco dining area is fitted with a retractable roof, meaning the family can enjoy the space come rain, hail or shine!
